Hi, I’m Shantanu Joshi—a passionate Financial Analyst, Trader, and the founder of Findependence Trading Academy. After spending 15+ years in the IT industry, I made a bold decision at 41 to pursue my true passion: stock market trading.
My Trading Journey
I started trading in 2006—right from my second salary. Like most beginners, I entered the markets without proper knowledge and learned some painful lessons, especially during the 2008 crisis. That setback taught me the value of a strong trading foundation.
Over the years, I tested countless strategies and realized one powerful truth: A strategy alone can’t make you consistently profitable. Your mindset matters just as much.
With a structured framework – combining trading strategies and mindset hacks, I finally achieved consistency. I even left my IT job in the USA to trade full-time and now helping others do the same.
In August 2023, I started Findependence Trading Academy to share everything I’ve learned.
My Mission:

FAQs
Do I need to purchase any Tools/ Softwares after doing this course?
To start with, you can use free plan of Tradingview. Once you are ready to deep dive, I would
suggest you to go for a paid plan. I personally use Plus plan of Tradingview. Share Market Mentorship Program
Will I get support after completion of course?
For 3 months post-course, get support via Google Meet during market hours (9:30 AM – 3:15 PM) and through a dedicated WhatsApp group. After 3 months, WhatsApp support ends, but you can still reach out for queries and trading guidance on weekdays between 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM.
Will I get refund, if I am unable to complete the course OR I do not wish to continue for any reason?
You can request for refund before start of Day 3 of the course.
Day 3 onwards, no refund request will be accepted. If you are unable to attend the course after paying fees, you will be
accommodated in the next batch without any extra charges.
How much trading capital will be required?
More the merrier. If you want to just invest in equities, you can start with any amount. If you wish to
trade in derivatives, I would suggest you to have a capital of at least 10 Lakhs.
Note – Returns are always in percentage of your Trading Capital. Don’t expect to get rich overnight
after course completion.
The course is conducted in which language?
Course material given to you will be in English only. Presentation used for teaching will also be in
English only. To explain the concepts, I will use Marathi/ Hindi.
I am completely new to Stock Markets. Is this course suitable for me?
Don’t worry. We shall be starting from basics. If you know how to make e-commerce transactions
using PC / Tab, you should be able to cope up with the course.
